Thursday 16th January, Soft Play and a visit from Charlie the Children Entertainer
Be You Crew have exclusive use of Leaps and Bounds Softplay Centre and the fabulously funny, Charlie will be offering some informal fun with balloon modelling, plate spinning and hand held magic tricks with a chance for members to get in on the act too. There is no age limit and with all our events siblings and friends are welcome. The cafe will be open serving delicious food and drinks. This event starts at 5.30 but just come when you can. A huge thank you to Leaps and Bounds for donatng their facilities and hosting this event.
Wednesday 26th February, Circus Academy
An abundance of fabulous, fun circus activities to promote physical activity, mental stimulation, social interaction and well-being. This activity will be hosted by Leek Circus Academy and will include supported and free access to juggling (with balls, beanbags, scarves, clubs and rings), spinning and throwing diabolo, throwing and manipulating flower sticks, balancing skills (low stilts, peacock feathers, spinning plates), riding pedal gos (which are an easy-is introduction to uni-cycling), plus there are ribbons, hula hoops, catching nets, skipping toys and more. There will be our usual tuck shop and tea, coffee and cakes will be available. This event will take place at Longsdon Village Hall. The front door (nearest to the road) is accessible. Tuesday 7th April, Little Red Riding Hood
Little red riding hood is a kind and thoughtful little girl who loves her family. One day, on a visit to her grandmother, she meets a very hungry wolf in the forest who just wants something to eat. But is he really such a big, bad wolf? Join Little Red on her adventure as she makes friends and discovers the importance of kindness. Retelling the classic fairytale with a Northern Ballet twist, Little Red Riding Hood is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to enjoy live ballet, music and theatre. This child friendly performance lasts approximately 45 minutes. Relaxed performance, 2pm. Aimed at children with autism, other additional needs or any child who may benefit from a more informal theatre experience.
