Wednesday 30th October, Leaps and Bounds Spooktacular
Chiiiiillllllll out, chat and let the kids have a frightfully good time at this Halloween themed event at Leaps and Bounds Softplay Center in Leek. Fancy dress is optional. There will be a 'Spooky Dip' amongst other fun and games. There is no age limit and as with all Be You Crew events siblings and friends are welcome. The café will be open serving delicious food and drinks. This is a free entry , exclusive hire event running from 4.30. A huge thank you to Leaps and Bounds for donating their facilities and hosting this event. See you there x
Wednesday 13th November, Wacky Science Party
Experience a one of a kind of science party with awesome science themed party games for the first half, followed by a hilarious wacky science show for the second half. Free entry but donation welcome. This event takes place at Longsdon Memorial Hall from 6.30 to 8.30 pm. The whole family is welcome! Wheelchair access to the front of the building. Thursday 19th December, Our Great Big Christmas Party!!!
Ho Ho Ho! A visit from Santa and a present for every child!! The lovely Aunty Dawn will be making this party go with a swing with dancing, party games and loads of prizes. There will be the usual Tea, Coffee and Mince Pies along with a Tuck shop and the licenced bar will be open for those in need of a little Christmas cheer. The sensory tent will be set up and the bar area will have a more chilled out atmosphere. Makes for a lovely night out with all the family and friends. This event takes place at the Foxlowe Art Center, Leek from 6.30 to 8.30 pm. Access is to the rear of the building, follow signs for SMDC Council Offices and turn left into the car park. Wednesday 26th February, Circus Academy
An abundance of fabulous, fun circus activities to promote physical activity, mental stimulation, social interaction and well-being. This activity will be hosted by Leek Circus Academy and will include supported and free access to juggling (with balls, beanbags, scarves, clubs and rings), spinning and throwing diabolo, throwing and manipulating flower sticks, balancing skills (low stilts, peacock feathers, spinning plates), riding pedal gos (which are an easy-is introduction to uni-cycling), plus there are ribbons, hula hoops, catching nets, skipping toys and more. There will be our usual tuck shop and tea, coffee and cakes will be available. This event will take place at Longsdon Village Hall. The front door (nearest to the road) is accessible.
